The Kansas City Chiefs have been starting their preseason OTAs and NFL across the league are all saying the same thing about Patrick Mahomes.
The NFL preseason is picking up steam and franchises across the league are beginning their first OTAs since the NFL schedules have been released.
Moreover, the Kansas City Chiefs have been tasked with one of the toughest opening schedules as their ‘three-peat’ road map has been officialized.
Chiefs dealt a brutal schedule for the opening two weeks, so must be locked in for preseason
Kansas City will be playing the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals in the opening two weeks at Arrowhead Stadium.
Therefore, the Chiefs will need to be fully engaged in their preseason to give themselves the best shot at going 2-0 before heading on the road to the Atalanta Falcons.
Additionally, it has been noted that Rashee Rice has been in attendance at the voluntary workouts in Missouri. The star wide receiver is battling off-field legal issues and is set to be suspended by the NFL for numerous games at the start of the 2024 season.
However, as he has not been suspended, Rice has every right to be present and keep himself in the best condition for when he can step back onto the field.
This is the first workout where the newly drafted and underrated rookies will cross paths with veterans like Mahomes.
The recent OTA started on May 20, with the last session concluding today.

Some fans have had a dig at the two-time MVP and commented on his physique. However, Mahomes has always embraced the ‘dad bod’ appearance and has joked about it before with the media.
Furthermore, he was in a similar shape when he hoisted the Vince Lombardi Trophy in the air for the third time in five years.
Chiefs fans should not worry, as he will continue to perform at the same level with a physique he has always maintained.
The ‘dad bod’ build is understandable being a dad to two children Bronze and Sterling.
