The Dallas Cowboys surprised everyone when they did not make a single move in the two days before the free agency window.

Albeit, the resigning of long snapper Trent Sieg to a fresh one-year contract.

It is a signing but it is not the headline-grabbing name that Cowboys Nation longed for.

America’s Team was predicted to make a move in the running back market but nothing emerged.

Bayless said Jerry Jones kept waiting on and on despite free agency deals being signed all around The States.

Dez Bryant took to X to say that one player will feel the wrath of their lack of movement.

The 2014 First-Team All-Pro posted on X: “Get ready to take the blame Dak because I really don’t see no help coming your way unless a miracle happens.

“Everybody in the NFC East got better during free agency but the Cowboys. The draft will not be enough.”

One of the Cowboys’ running game targets was Saquon Barkley but he was stolen by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Furthermore, the Washington Commanders added talent and depth in the form of nine new faces.

Finally, the New York Giants made a blockbuster trade securing pass rusher Brian Burns to a mega contract from the Carolina Panthers.

Bryant hit the nail on the head.

NFC East rivals getting stronger

All the Cowboys’ other rivals in the NFC East are making the necessary additions to their rosters.

Whilst the Dallas front office sits their ideal.

Reports suggested that America’s Team is only operating on a specific budget and will not stray away.

Nevertheless, the best free agents are now off the market.

The star talent they desperately need is missing.

If they place all their eggs into the draft, this is a massive risk when trying to win a Super Bowl.
