The Houston Texans have executed the biggest offseason trade to add further talent to their exciting squad.
Houston has acquired the service of All-Pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs which shook up the NFL yesterday.
The Dallas Cowboys’ noisy neighbors have taken the opposite approach and have gone ‘all in’.
It is easy to juxtapose the two franchises’ situations but the Texans are doing what Cowboy Nation had hoped.
Jerry Jones ‘all in’ comments
Owner Jerry Jones made hopeful remarks, saying the Cowboys would be going ‘all in’ before free agency.
However, one outside free agent signing has seemingly contradicted his words.

Eric Kendricks remains the only new addition to the 2023 roster with multiple players being resigned to new deals.
Nonetheless, there has been an alarming number of players leaving the star and joining new teams.
Jones’ comments have taken a massive U-turn as he implied the Cowboys must learn to win with less.
Cowboys’ finances restricted with future contracts
The Cowboys have their hands tied behind their back with Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons’ contracts.
Parsons has signed a team-friendly fifth-year rookie extension so his new deal has time to wait.
Dallas’ offseason moves have been restricted due to the financial burden of Prescott and knowing Lamb needs a top-of-the-market deal.
The Texans have cap room to play with as they are building around a rookie contracted quarterback.
‘Teaxns are making the moves’
Former QB Robert Griffin III has taken a swipe at the Dallas Cowboys, specifically Jerry Jones on X.
In the wake of the Diggs trade, he posted: “The Houston Texans are making the moves the Dallas Cowboys should have if they were really ALL IN.”
Griffin uses the owner’s previous words against him and believes the Cowboys should be making similar moves.
Diggs being one of the best receivers in the business, the current financial situation at the Cowboys could not fund a move of this magnitude.
It seems clear America’s Team is focused on paying their homegrown talent this offseason.
RGIII has joined Stephen A. Smith in taking a shot at the Cowboys.
The latter said the Texans are the best team in Texas State.
Both teams are going to meet at AT&T Stadium in 2024.
