As we approach offseason workouts, the rumours within the Dallas organisation are boiling over.
The Dallas Cowboys at this point in the offseason are a synonym for mess – and gossip too.
There has been little talk of official announcements and a lot about rumours and internal issues.
Last week, Shan Shariff reported that Micah Parsons’ ‘has worn thin’ in Dallas. This information has spread among fans and sports news pages, probably creating a tense environment in the franchise, even if none of it is true.
So far, neither the player himself nor anyone else from the Cowboys has spoken out about this rumour and there is still doubt as to whether this information is true or not.

Former NFL wide receiver thinks this discussion is pointless
LeSean McCoy, on the latest edition of the Speak show, was quick to point out that this rumour is nothing and that the team, even if they want to, won’t do anything about it.
“This means nothing. You know why? What they gonna do? Trade him, get rid of him? He’s your best player since he’s been drafted […]”
“So there’s nothing that you can do about it. And Jerry Jones is smart, right? He doesn’t want to pay Dak Prescott, he had a lot of players to pay. Who knows what the biggest check of all of them dudes. I won’t even say the biggest, because I don’t know how it’s gonna work, but who’s guaranteed with that money that we know, that we put in the box for him? Is Micah Parsons.”
Shady went on to say that any other team would give anything to have Parsons in their squad.
“He changes the game. Any team would love to have whatever he got going on in Dallas, whatever he’s doing in the locker room, they would love to have that because he’s that good. He’s a great player.”
“The Cowboys need him. If they wanna win, if they wanna get somewhere that they haven’t been in a long time, almost the last 30 years, keep Micah Parsons, pay and quit all the chatty patty stuff, man.”
Dallas has other things to worry about
Joy Taylor, co-host of the show, appealed and simply claimed that, even if this information about the player’s relationship with the team is true, it’s all hype.
“You know what else bothers me when organizations like the Cowboys, who haven’t been to an NFC Championship game in 30 years? Complaining about somebody who is the least of your concern. Worry about stuff that matters.”
“Who cares about if Micah is irritating somebody? Please irritate me so that I can get over the hump in my career and achieve something that hasn’t been done in 30 years. Please get on my nerves. It’s called therapy. Get you some hot tea. They have lots of options for this. Go to a spa, I don’t know, figure it out. But I hate these kind of conversations, especially when it’s not anything real.”
These whispers could also be an attempt by the franchise to dispel their lack of moves in the offseason. If so, they’re making a mistake – another one.
