Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is under scrutiny after a terrible play-off loss.
There is always an inquest when the Dallas Cowboys lose in the play-offs and this year is no different. In fact, the scrutiny is even more intense this year.
Dallas came into these play-offs as the number two seed, with home advantage expected to carry the team through until the Championship game.
And then disaster struck. An upstart Green Bay team handed Dallas a humiliating loss with 48 points hung on them.

Bill Simmons calls out Dak Prescott
Former ESPN writer and The Ringer podcaster Bill Simmons pointed the finger of blame towards Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.
Prescott’s play-off record has fallen to a very unsatisfactory 2-5 win/loss rate. To put that into context, Baker Mayfield is now 2-1.
With the losses piling up, criticism has been heading Prescott’s way. Skip Bayless urged the team to ditch him.
Simmons said on his podcast: “He’s 30 years old, and at this point you are who you are.
“This is the best year he’s had I don’t totally trust him in big games like this. I thought his eyes turned into saucers midway through the first quarter.
“This was a game where if your really an elite franchise guy, ‘alright our defence can’t stop them let’s go and get some points’, and it went the other way.”
With Dallas trailing, Prescott threw a pick six, and at that point, the game was pretty much done, with the 49ers starting their preparations to face the Packers.
As for Dak’s future, Simmons concedes the Cowboys probably have to stick with him, agreeing with Stephen A Smith.
He said: “Tough year for Dak, but you have to pay him right?”
Prescott was in the MVP mix and put up 12 regular season wins. Perhaps one year it will all come together.
