The NFL play-offs are continuing without the Dallas Cowboys.
The Dallas Cowboys were abruptly dumped out of the play-offs at the hands of the Green Bay Packers at the weekend.
This upcoming weekend the divisional round will be held, with Dallas sitting at home, reflecting on a failure to play up to the team’s potential.
The divisional round will see Dallas’ conquerors Green Bay go up against the San Francisco 49ers, the team which had beaten the Cowboys in the two previous season.

Kyle Shanahan did not expect Dallas fightback
As the two-seed, Dallas would have avoided the one-seed 49ers until the NFC Championship game. Instead, with the Packers seeded seventh, they visit Green Bay early.
If Dallas had won, they would have had a home game with Tampa Bay.
The 49ers, who had a bye-week on Wildcard Weekend, started getting prepared early to face the Packers.
Very early. Insultingly early, from a Cowboys perspective.
Speaking at a press conference, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said his team were preparing to face the Green Bay Packers by the second quarter of the wildcard game.
He explained: “We started really focusing on them halfway through the second quarter.
“Then they [Dallas] scored at end of second quarter so I kind of did both at half-time then third quarter I was set on one team.”
These comments are brutal for Cowboys fans to hear, and reflect exactly how bad the team were against the Packers.
When Dak Prescott threw his pick six in the second quarter, it gave the visitors a 28-0 lead.
And even despite an offensive improvement in the second half, the defense still gave up more points, a total of 48, for a complete humiliation.
