The Kansas City Chiefs will enter the 2024 season as the one franchise every team wants to beat.

As they hunt down the ‘three-peat’, there will be multiple franchises looking to beat Chiefs Kingdom to the crown. But the team also have plenty of motivation themselves.

Like last year, the Chiefs will begin the season with an opening game at Arrowhead Stadium.

They know which opponents are scheduled to be played at home and what stadiums they will travel to.

Chiefs star reveals biggest revenge games

One Chiefs defensive star has revealed which fixtures he is looking for revenge in.

Charles Omenihu joined Kay Adam on the UpAndAdams Show to preview the highly anticipated season.

Moreover, the defensive end has been on a journey of rehabilitation since his gruesome ACL tear in the recent postseason.

The injured star was asked by Kay Adams who his biggest ‘revenge’ games are in 2024.

Omenihu revealed on the show: “100% the Niners, 2000% the Texans, if I could add another 1000 for the Texans I would, the Ravens because I feel like the job was not finished.”

AFC Championship - Kansas City Chiefs v Baltimore Ravens

Postseason foes reunited

One of his revenge games is against the San Francisco 49ers but that will be a two-way street.

The Californian-based team will be desperate to have a moral victory after the bitter loss at Super Bowl LVIII.

Additionally, the defensive lineman played for the 49ers over two seasons. So, he is desperate to get victory over some familiar faces.

Furthermore, Omenihu was keen to play against the Houston Texans, the team that drafted him in 2019.

Before his venture to the West Coast, Omenihu spent two seasons with his rookie team after being drafted in the fifth round.

Omenihu has unfinished business

The ACL tear which he has endured occurred against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship.

Unfortunately, this forced him to miss the Super Bowl where the Chiefs secured successive rings.

Nonetheless, they are due to play the Ravens again and Omenihu believes there is unfinished business.

Similar to the 49ers, the Ravens will be desperate to avenge their devastating loss in the offseason.

Chiefs will have to be at the top of their game to emerge winners in Omenihu’s three ‘revenge’ games.
