The wide receiver also enters the final of his contract but on his rookie deal.

After being a 2023 First-Team All-Pro, Lamb could become the most expensive receiver in NFL history.

In addition, Micah Parsons is eligible for a new deal and is also set to reset the market at his position.

The longer America’s Team sits on the contractual issues, the more the price will creep up.

Chad Ochocinco slates the way Jerry Jones runs the Cowboys

On the Nightcap podcast, Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco discussed the recent Prescott comments.

The former wide receiver had a bone to pick with Jerry Jones’ treatment of Dak Prescott.

Ochocinco stated: “I love the Dallas Cowboys, I love the Dallas fans and I love the players that are in Dallas. I just don’t like the way it’s run as a circus by the individual who is the ring leader [Jerry Jones], that’s all.

“When it comes to the quarterback position there is one thing you don’t do. Don’t play with them! You make sure you take care of them first, so there is no uncertainty and so that they know they are all in on you.”

Ochocinco has claimed Jerry Jones has not shown any confidence in Prescott during the offseason.

He even pinpoints the blame at the hands of the 81-year-old owner, dubbing the franchise as a ‘circus’.

Furthermore, the 46-year-old has highlighted that it is foolish to mess around Prescott as the quarterback is the priority position.

Cowboys set to enter the 2024 season on uncertain terms with Prescott

Uncertainty at the QB role is what the best teams try to avoid, yet the Cowboys are set on creating problems.

Ultimately, Prescott knows that he can hit free agency in 2025 and expects to be paid handsomely as a free agent.

Dallas has dominated the headlines for all the wrong reasons in 2024, hopefully they can muster some positivity from the NFL Draft for their sake.
