However, Brett Veach has stated there is one concern surrounding Worthy as a wide receiver.

Chiefs reporter Charles Goldman shared what the General Manager stated about their new acquisition.

Goldman posted: “GM Brett Veach says the 175-180 pound mark is the ideal weight for new WR Xavier Worthy. Says he’ll work with the nutrition staff to get there. Currently listed at 165.”

There is a slight issue with Worthy’s reported weight and they will make it their mission to bulk him up.

Worthy must put 10-15lbs to meet the ‘ideal’ receiver weight

According to Veach’s numbers, the new Chief must put on between 10-15 pounds of size before suiting up for the 2024 season.

Veach, who signed a new long-term deal this week, confirmed that Worthy will work with a nutritionist.

This ideal weight will not be hard to reach as he will have access to the best health care and training in the world.

When he takes the field at Arrowhead Stadium on the opening day, Worthy should be expected to weigh close to 180lbs.
