Much of the attention is now focused on the pivotal offseason free agency window which is crucial to steering a franchise in the direction of Super Bowl contention.

The NFL Draft is an important event that will help teams build legacy rosters to compete later down the line. And one of the most stacked positions in the NFL Draft is the wide receiver position.

It is no secret that the Kansas City Chiefs will be looking at adding talent to the wide receiver core after stumbling across numerous problems within the group last season.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling was cut nearly a fortnight ago, so there is an indication that the Chiefs will be looking to recruit more additions.

If the free agency window is not appealing to general manager Brett Veach, the next opportunity would be the NFL Draft.

The highlight of the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, was when University of Texas graduate, Xavier Worthy, ran the fastest 40-yard dash time in Combine history (4.21).

Understandably, this has had many heads turning, and now Worthy is a high-valued piece for any roster.
