One of the most exciting wide receiver prospects in the NFL Draft has confirmed he met with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Xavier Worthy made a name for himself at the NFL Combine, running the 40-yard dash in a new record time of 4.21 seconds.
Worthy was tipped before the combine as a possible draft pick for Kansas City, and there is still a chance he is available at number 32.
The Kansas City Chiefs will be on the lookout for a receiver in the draft or free agency, or both, after cutting Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

Xavier Worthy meets with Kansas City Chiefs
Speedster Xavier Worthy was in demand at the NFL Combine, and has confirmed he met with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show, Worthy said he met with ’23 or 24 teams’ for one on one interviews.
He said: “My main goals for interviews was to know how different teams look at me as a football player, a lot of people don’t know that I have the smarts that come with the speed.”
Asked specifically which teams he met with, he nodded when he was questioned about the Jets, the Bears, and the Raiders.
When quizzed if Super Bowl champions the Kansas City Chiefs were one, Worthy’s face lit up.
He revealed he shared a little joke with head coach Andy Reid, commenting: “Yes sir. That was actually my first time of seeing Andy Reid in person. I play a lot of Madden he looks exactly how he does in Madden. I told him. It’s crazy.”
A little starstruck, opposing defenses will be seeing lights if Worthy ends up slotting into the dangerous Chiefs offense.
Former NFL quarterback Brady Quinn explained this week that this is the one pick opposing teams will be hoping Kansas City don’t make, adding him to Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice, to give Patrick Mahomes another big weapon.
