WWE star Grayson Waller has challenged Travis Kelce to ‘defend Taylor Swift’s honor’ at WrestleMania 40. The Australian wrestler has made a series of comments about Swift and her followers in recent weeks.
At this point it’s undeniable that Kansas City star Travis Kelce plays better with Taylor Swift in attendance. The seven-time All-Pro TE and pop superstar have been hitting it off recently and are rumored to be dating. Taylor has been at several Chiefs games to cheer on Kelce which has sent the internet into pandemonium.
The alleged romance is certainly having an affect on Trav. Against the Chargers on Sunday, Kelce had 12 receptions, 179 yards and a touchdown – the second-most single-game receiving yards of his career.
In the two games Swift did not attend this year, Kelce has averaged seven receptions, 10 targets and 46.5 yards with two touchdowns. In the four games she did attend, Kelce has averaged 8.5 receptions, 9.75 targets and 108 yards per game with two touchdowns.

WWE star has been throwing shade at Taylor Swift recently
The world is seemingly obsessed with the Kelce-Swift axis, however, one person who’s not feeling the romance is WWE star Grayson Waller.
On a recent episode of WWE’s YouTube show The Bump, the 33-year-old Australian claimed Kelce was ‘settling for a six’ by dating Swift.
“Good for Trav… I’m not the kind of guy who’d settle for a six, but each to their own,” he said.
“To me personally, I like a little bit of spice — I like a nine or a 10. Good for him for settling and trying his best.”
Naturally those comments incurred the wrath of Swifties all over the world, although the backlash didn’t seem to phase Waller. He doubled down on his comments and has fully leant into the troll job on social media.
He referred to her fans as “the ugliest losers on social media” before posting a sarcastic ‘public apology’ video.

Now though, it seems as if Kelce has entered Waller’s firing line.
He first threw shade at Trav in early October when he posted a photo with Kelce’s mother Donna while wearing Philadelphia Eagles colours.
Following on from that, it appears Waller has thrown down the ultimate challenge for Kelce: face him in the ring at next year’s WrestleMania in Philadelphia.
On a recent episode of The Bump, the wrestler reportedly said: “I’ve heard Travis Kelce is a wrestling fan, right? So hey, we’re in Philly. Maybe next year, lad, Why don’t you come and get in the ring and defend her honor? He seems like a good guy. Why don’t you come and say something to me about it, lad?”
Neither Kelce or Swift has yet responded to Waller’s provocations, but is that wild to imagine Kelce actually agreeing to something like this?
We’ll have to wait and see.
