Tyreek Hill has spoken to reporters ahead of facing the Chiefs for the first time as an opposition player this weekend.

The Chiefs travel to Germany this week ahead of a tantalising Week 9 showdown against the Miami Dolphins.

The Chiefs and Dolphins are among the Super Bowl favorites this year and will face each other this Sunday at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany.

Tyreek Hill will play against the Chiefs for the first time on Sunday

For the first time in his career, Tyreek Hill will play against the Chiefs.

‘Cheetah’ won Super Bowl LIV with the Chiefs after being drafted with the team in the fifth round in 2016. After five years with the Chiefs, Hill was involved in a blockbuster trade last year that saw him move to the Dolphins in exchange for five draft picks.

It was a deal that worked out for both parties, as Kansas won the Super Bowl last year while Hill has continued to cement himself as the game’s best wideout.

This season he leads the league in receiving yards with 1,014 and is part of a supercharged Mike McDaniel offense that has powered the Dolphins to a 6-2 record.

Hill says he can’t wait to ‘trash talk his old quarterback’

Speaking to reporters ahead of the game in Germany, Hill revealed he’s looking forward to coming up against his old teammates, including Patrick Mahomes, who he intends to trash talk to.

“I have never been to Germany,” Hill said. “I’m looking forward to it. Obviously, we’re playing against the Chiefs, so it’s going to be a fun game to see some old faces, and yeah, just get after it, talk trash to my old quarterback.”

Hill also discussed his mindset heading into the game and where he thinks his emotions will be at.

“I’m ready, man,” Hill said. “It’s just another game. I’m just excited to play against my old brothers. It’s just like if you’re in high school and you move to a different city, it’s still ball. At the end of the day, my job is to go out there and do what I’ve been doing all year, and that’s have fun, help lead this team, and create opportunities for whoever. I’m still going to be the same old Cheetah, baby.”

He would have preferred the game to be at Arrowhead Stadium

However, the WR admitted he’d have liked the game to have been at Arrowhead Stadium in order to experience a proper return to his former team.

“I was kind of p**** about it, man, because obviously, I’ve got so many friends, I’ve got family there, one of my sons is there,” Hill said about the game being in Germany. “Just the energy, man, feeling that energy in Arrowhead would have been next level, but obviously I understand that the NFL, they want to be more global and they want to send two of the best offenses over there, two MVP quarterbacks, dynamic offenses, and it’s going to be a good game. It’s really good promotion for them. But going back to Arrowhead, it would have been sensational.”

Tyreek also sported a new haircut ahead of the game. Asked why, he replied: “I just had to let KC know, whenever they see me, it’s going to be problems, because old ‘Reek,’ yeah, he was hell, so I’m back.”

“The Cheetah is back.”
