The OTAs are an excellent stepping stone for rookies and Guyton has made the most of it
OTAs are a valuable transition period for rookies to absorb pivotal knowledge from fellow players and coaches before the bulk of preseason training is set in motion.
Dallas Cowboys rookie Tyler Guyton has been drafted with big shoes to fill after Tyron Smith hit free agency.

After the NFL Draft, he revealed that he was excited to work alongside Smith as they build their chemistry in the offseason.
Guyton reacts to the Dallas temperature and hints at the team’s spirit
Dallas Cowboys reporter Jon Machota asked the rookie how he was coping with the heat on the last day of mandatory minicamp.
“Good. I ___ing love it. That’s football, man. That’s the game you signed up for,” Guyton enthusiastically explained.
“You want it to be hot and nasty out there. We’re putting in work. Everybody is doing this ____ together. We have one collective goal and we’re doing everything we can to reach it.”
The 22-year-old is pumped up about working with the team and has highlighted the collective spirit amongst the players.
Furthermore, Guyton understands that this is part and parcel of football.
Jerry Jones’ offseason approach could see Cooper Beebee slot in at center
Jerry Jones allowed several key starters to leave during free agency and the front office has resorted to the cheaper rookies to fill in.
Fellow newbie Cooper Beebe will have a fascinating position on the Cowboys’ offensive line come 2024.
Reports have suggested that the Kansas versatile lineman could slot into center after Tyler Biadasz joined defensive coordinator Dan Quinn in Washington.
Behind the scenes, Beebe has been practicing snapping the ball and could supplement the vital position.
