Travis Kelce was mic’d up for the Week 7 matchup with the Chargers. The Chiefs shared a clip of the tight end’s best moments and now fans are asking him to be mic’d up every game.

Travis Kelce is having the time of his life right now.

Against the Chargers in Week 7, and in front of Taylor Swift, the Chiefs tight end finished with 12 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown, as he and Patrick Mahomes combined for their 50th regular season touchdown during the game.

Kelce now has has 31 catches for 370 yards and two touchdowns in his last three games. With 179 yards against the Chargers, he became just the second tight end in history behind Shannon Sharpe to record five games of 150-plus receiving yards. It was also his fifth career game with 10+ receptions and at least 150 receiving yards – something no tight end has ever done before.

Luckily for fans, Kelce also happened to be mic’d up by NFL Films during the game. The Chiefs posted a video of Kelce’s on-field antics during the matchup, and it’s clear to see that Travis absolutely loves doing what he does.

His enthusiasm and love for football is infectious, and his constant back-and-forth banter with Chargers defensive back Derwin James didn’t disappoint.

The footage starts with Kelce jumping in excitement saying, “What a day for some football, baby!” before running onto the field exclaiming “You gotta love this!”.

The rest of the clip shows him firing up teammates, being respectful with his opponents, and generally dominating on the offensive side of the football:

Fans were loving Kelce’s mic’d up moments

The footage was shared across social media and it’s fair to say Chiefs fans were loving Travis’ interactions.

‘Love to listen to Travis motivate his teammates. Love seeing him and his moves up close,’ one person commented on YouTube.

‘The fact that he threw the Chargers DB for a loop when he called out cover zero is one of the things that makes him great. Dude is reading defenses before the ball is even snapped,’ another top comment read.

‘He needs to be mic’d up every game…dude is hilarious… “come with me” took me out,’ someone on Twitter replied.
