Travis Kelce says he shares something in common with Kadarius Toney after the teams’ win over the Patriots.
Even with a win, not all was well in Chiefs Kingdom this week after a botched catch attempt from Kadarius Toney led to a interception.
It highlighted the serious concerns with Toney’s own poor season, already under the spotlight after his game-costing offside call the week before.
Patrick Mahomes was spotted looking angry on the sideline and Toney has become a laughing stock online with his ongoing mistakes.

Travis Kelce backs Toney
Speaking before the 27-17 win over the Patriots last week, tight end Travis Kelce gave his support to Toney after the offside call and said the criticism was unjust.
He said his view has not changed, speaking on his podcast and has explained what he spoke about with Toney when they left the field at Foxborough.
Kelce had a drop himself during the win, and said he discussed this was Toney, a need to be better collectively.
He explained: “He had a drop, I had a drop. I was just there telling him, we gotta be better man.
“Everything else I said can stay between us. I said all I got to say last week and I’m still on board and firm with everything I said.”
Kelce added: “We got some turnovers. We got to keep cutting back on the turnovers we are doing on the offense, at the end of the day we came together as a team and found a way to win and that’s all you can ____ ask for man.”
Kelce had five catches from seven targets against the Patriots for 28 yards.
The entire receiving room needs to be better, with former NFL head coach Rex Ryan saying this week they need to be ‘put on blast’.
Former Rams tackle Andrew Whitworth said Kelce needed to ‘police the locker room’ and lay the law down on Toney, but this can only happen if Andy Reid takes a hard stance with Toney too.
