Patrick Mahomes’ reaction on the sidelines created a talking point after a turnover against the Patriots.
It is not a shock for a quarterback to be frustrated after a receiver fumbles a pass and it leads to a turnover of possession.
Patrick Mahomes is no different, looking visibly frustrated as he mouthed off, following Kadarius Toney’s latest mistake.
But this was more than just one mistake. This was the latest in a catalog of errors from Toney, who managed just five yards against the Pats.

Patrick Mahomes annoyance shows
Mahomes tossed his helmet to the ground as the team turned the ball over. The Patriots went on to score to reduce the Chiefs’ lead.
Kansas City won the game 27-17, yet the turnover was the most memorable play of the game for all the wrong reasons.
Shannon Sharpe observed on X that Mahomes is losing patience with his teammate. He wrote: “Mahomes is fed up with Toney and I don’t blame him.”
This is backed up by the numbers. Toney had only four targets during the win.
The former Giants receiver has been a liability all season. Last week his offside penalty cost the Chiefs the win over the Bills.
Toney believes he was unfairly penalized and was backed by teammates including Mahomes, who directed anger at officials instead.
This time he has only himself to blame. And he won’t have liked Mahomes’ reaction on the sidelines.
Andy Reid’s comments on Toney after the game suggested he may have a re-think over Toney too.
