The TE is committing to Kansas City long term after reportedly splashing out on a new $6m pad. The moves stems from a desire for more privacy amid his romance with Taylor Swift.

The world seemingly can’t get enough of the Travis Kelce x Taylor Swift romance that’s developing right before our very eyes.

In truth it’s all been a bit bonkers since Taylor was spotted with Trav’s family at Arrowhead Stadium for the Week 3 win over the Chicago Bears. Amid the craziness of the last few weeks, Kelce has reportedly upgraded his living conditions for something a little more private.

Travis Kelce reportedly buys new $6m Kansas City mansion

According to TMZ, the eight-time Pro Bowler has just bought a new mansion in Kansas City for just under $6m. The KC home is in a gated community with six bedrooms, six bathrooms and more than 16,000 square feet.

Amenities reportedly include a pool with a waterfall, a tennis and pickleball court and a mini golf course.

According to reports, the move was driven by a need for more privacy. Things have gotten a bit hectic in recent weeks and Trav’s former residence was a little too accessible to the outside world. His desire to keep whatever relationship with Swift as private as possible seems like a pretty big reason for the move.

Crucially, though, Kelce has made the purchase independently, with Taylor not being involved financially.

It’s been a whirlwind few weeks for the Chiefs star

Kelce has an annual salary of $14m with the Chiefs and signed a four-year deal worth around $57m in 2020. The two-time Super Bowl champ also had a string of lucrative endorsement deals with the likes of Pfizer, State Farm, Hy-Vee and Experian.

Swift appeared at back-to-back Chiefs game recently to watch the TE do his thing, and she appeared to enjoy herself.

After watching the Chiefs in Thursday night’s 19-8 victory against the Denver Broncos, the pair moved on to New York City where they reportedly crashed at Taylor’s Tribeca apartment. They were spotted out and about around the city and even appeared on SNL, although separately.

On the football side of things, Kelce is continuing to operate at a high level. He has totaled 36 catches for 346 yards and three touchdowns through five games as the 5-1 Chiefs sit atop the AFC West.
