Rumored lovebirds Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift made separate, surprise cameos on a recent episode of Saturday Night Live (SNL).

The Kansas City Chiefs are arguably the most famous sports team in the world right now thanks to the blossoming romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

The pop megastar and Chiefs TE have been getting close in recent weeks. The pair set pulses racing after Swift appeared at back-to-back Kansas games to cheer on Trav.

The Chiefs saw off the Broncos in last week’s Thursday night game, meaning the team had a few extra days off.

The All-Pro tight end spent the weekend in New York City, where he was joined by rumored girlfriend Swift. Not one to shy away from a media opportunity, Kelce made a surprise appearance on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live.

The skit featured the Fox Football Sunday pregame crew trying discuss the upcoming Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets game. However, the chat quickly descended into who was biggest ‘Swiftie’ was, mocking sports media’s recent obsession with the couple over the actual football.

The skit ended with ‘Curt Menefee’ announcing they were going to break and when they returned they would hear from someone who really knew about football. That’s when the camera panned to Kelce who replied, “Yes, please!” as the audience went wild:

Swift also made her own, separate cameo on that episode of SNL.

The singer appeared on screen following a commercial break to introduce her friend, Ice Spice, for her second performance of the night.

While the rumored couple didn’t appear on the episode together, they were spotted arriving at the SNL after party in NYC.

Kelce certainly appears to be enjoying life on and off the field. While some fans may have grown concerned Travis’ off-field exploits could have impacted his performances, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Despite being banged up with an ankle injury, the TE was instrumental in the Chiefs 19-8 victory over the Broncos on Thursday, catching 9 passes for 124 yards.
