The Dallas Cowboys are locked in on maximizing the NFL Draft but a Cowboys Insider is scared of their latest revelation.
Adam Schefter described the Dallas Cowboys as a ‘sleeper team’ in the NFL Draft to pick a quarterback.
Moreover, this is because the situation with Dak Prescott is unclear with just one year left under contract.
So, the Cowboys have been labeled as a team to keep an eye on when on the clock in the NFL Draft.
However, America’s Team has bigger needs to address when April 25th comes around.
Cowboys’ offensive line is in desperate need of reinforcements
Their offensive line needs bolstering as they have no center, no left tackle, or guard.
It remains unclear which position Tyler Smith is set to play in 2024.
The 23-year-old has come off a season as an All-Pro guard but was drafted as the left tackle for the future.

The center Tyler Biadasz left Dallas for Washington after landing in free agency joining former defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.
As Jerry Jones opted to release key pieces of their offensive line, they now need to hit on all their early picks.
America’s Team will be having a guaranteed rookie starter at center and a left tackle or guard depending on Tyler Smith.
Cowboys Insider says the O-line situation ‘terrifies’ him
On the show Speak, Fox’s Cowboys Insider Dave Helman discussed their priorities in the draft.
He claimed the current situation on the offensive line scares him: “Tyler [Smith] could kick out to left tackle and that’s fine. Then you still happen to have no left guard and no center because Tyler Biadasz is in Washington now.
“With Dak Prescott at age 31, you want to have no guard and no center that have never played together and maybe you get one in the first round. No, that terrifies me. I don’t know why it’s the way it is.
“They need two caliber offensive linemen, right now, they need two. However you want to slice it, no matter what Tyler Smith does.”
It seems that the Cowboys will be preparing to select a center and a left tackle for the NFL Draft.
Tyler Smith confirms which position he wants to play in 2024
Furthermore, in a recent interview, Smith confirmed he wants to stick to his position of left guard.
Smith stated he liked ‘continuity’ and ‘I’m the starting left guard for the Dallas Cowboys’.
The Cowboys hosted multiple first-round projected offensive linemen in their top 30 visits at The Star in Frisco.
There seems to be no situation as of right now where the Cowboys choose to do anything but an O-lineman round one.
Jerry Jones will be the 24th GM on the clock in the first round unless a dramatic trade occurs.
