New Kansas City Chiefs superfan Taylor Swift watched the team’s victory over New England Patriots.

Taylor Swift was in Foxborough to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Chiefs break a run of two losses to get back to winning ways.

The Chiefs won 27-17 to move to 9-5 and keep the pressure on the Ravens in the race for the number one seed.

A blunder by Kadarius Toney late in the game made it a little tight, but this was a relatively easy win for a team that needed it after a tough week.

Taylor Swift spotted with Brittany Mahomes

The media do love to create drama, and in the lead-up to this game, reports emerged suggesting Taylor Swift was distancing herself from Brittany Mahomes wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

As reported via The Mirror, a caller to 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Zolak & Bertrand radio show claimed ahead of her trip to Foxborough: “One of the sources I have is saying she doesn’t want to be with Brittany Mahomes. I don’t know why.”

This was picked up by media across the world, showing how unsubstantiated gossip can quickly become news in this day and age.

Well, the perfect way to shut down the rumors was to cozy up to Brittany Mahomes at Foxborough.

She was pictured doing exactly that, and one video even showed them jumping up and down together in celebration.

A happy Chiefs camp

The last thing the Chiefs need would be for some falling out between the love interests of the team’s two most important players.

So it looks like good news that this has quickly been disproven and that there won’t be more negative headlines created that could overshadow the team.

The Chiefs have important on-field issues to deal with, like the team’s drop issues persisting. At least there were no offside calls in this game.

Next game is a divisional game at home to the Raiders on Christmas Day. Bring it on.
