The Dallas Cowboys have left the NFL Draft satisfied with their picks and are underway signing undrafted free agents to add further depth to their roster.
Franchises will now have a better picture of what their roster looks like and what positions still need to be addressed.
Jerry Jones picked up the phone and drafted players to start on their offensive and defensive lines.
Moreover, he has secured a starting linebacker to add physicality and help to stop the run.
Depth has been added in the defensive back and wide receiver rooms.
Dallas Cowboys land key starters after allowing many to walk in free agency
Before the NFL Draft, America’s Team had backed themselves into a corner where they had to land starters.
This was their most important draft in years after their reluctance to make the most of free agency.
Dallas delivered and secured four starters in the opening three rounds.

They traded back with the Detroit Lions in the opening round which gave the front office an extra pick on Day 2.
Cowboys selected Tyler Guyton out of Oklahoma who will play as the starting left tackle on Dak Prescott’s blindside.
In addition, the franchise took defensive end Marshawn Kneeland with their first choice on the second day.
Furthermore, the Cowboys took hybrid offensive lineman Cooper Beebe via the trade with the Lions.
Cooper Beebe drafted to play center but has never played a game there
Beebe is open to playing center for the Dallas Cowboys and would fill a vital hole left by Tyler Biadasz joining the Washington Commanders.
Only 14 picks later, Jerry Jones was on the clock once more and chose linebacker starter Marist Liufau.
After Leighton Vander Esch was forced into early retirement, it was imperative to draft his replacement.
They can pair the rookie with veteran Eric Kendricks and the latter can act as a constructive mentor.
The one notable issue the Cowboys did not address was a running back.
Johnathon Brooks was the Cowboys’ top target at running back but was taken by the Carolina Panthers.
The Panthers traded up in the second round and stole the rusher out of Texas from the Cowboys’ grasp.
Only the day before, Jones held the rusher in the highest regard and said he was the best player he had ever had the privilege of interviewing in 30 years.
Skip Bayless left frustrated at the Cowboys’ picks and gave an overall grade
Cowboys fan Skip Bayless was left frustrated when the franchise chose to not draft National Champion Blake Corum for their running game.
The Undisputed presenter then took to X after the conclusion of the Draft to give his overall grade.
Bayless posted on X: “I give Dallas draft D+ … Guyton project. Kneeland reach. Beebe solid but should’ve been Blake Corum.
Liafau reach (MarShawn Lloyd next). Caelen Carson (best available, not need). Ryan Flournoy (better athlete than rec at small school). Nathan Thomas, Justin Rogers good gambles.”
Bayless was not satisfied with the Cowboys’ drafting performance and believes they have not landed with their picks.
