The Dallas Cowboys are now trying to work their magic during the offseason and recruit the players that will see them end their Super Bowl drought.

Michael Gallup, Tony Pollard, and Tyron Smith have all left the team.

Eric Kendricks was the first blockbuster move for the Dallas Cowboys.

Additionally, Jourdan Lewis is returning on a one-year deal after an impressive 2023 season.

But sadly, Leighton Vander Esch has been forced into an early retirement due to his persistent neck injury.

Will Jerry Jones stay true to his words

Jerry Jones has stated they need to improve their running game as they ranked 14th in rush yards per game.

Furthermore, the ‘all in’ remarks have got the Cowboys fans excited.

But it was surprising when they did not make any running back moves in free agency so far.

If the Cowboys fail to reach the NFC Championship game in 2024, this will mark the 30th anniversary of their absence.

A lot of pressure is riding on a crucial offseason and Dak Prescott will need to deliver regardless of an extension.

Micah Parsons and CeeDee Lamb are two of the best players in their respective positions and will be looking to get paid accordingly.

Moreover, their NFC East rivals have all been active during free agency and have got stronger.

The NFC East has got stronger

America’s Team will be under pressure from the Philadelphia Eagles trying to regain the division crown and the Washington Commanders and the New York Giants trying to close the gap.

Cowboys fan Skip Bayless has taken to X to share his opinion on what the future has in store for their upcoming season: “I’m starting to think the Cowboys will miss the playoffs next season.”

Bayless does not believe his beloved team will not make the postseason next year.

Prescott needs a deep postseason run

The Cowboys are a dominant team in the regular season, producing three consecutive seasons of 12-plus wins.

It would take a massive drop-off for the Cowboys to not make the playoffs.

Perhaps that was an overreaction from the presenter of Undisputed.

Ultimately, the Cowboys will be under pressure to hang on to their division title and the chasing pack is closing in.

If they do fail to make the playoffs, this will be the fourth time Prescott will have failed to reach the postseason.
