Skip Bayless sent an ominous message to the Cowboys’ rivals, specifically the 49ers, Eagles and Lions, following the team’s win over the Chargers on Monday night.

The Cowboys silenced some of the doubters on Monday night, bouncing back from a humiliating defeat to the 49ers last week with a resilient win over the Chargers.

Cowboys eke out crucial 20-17 win against Chargers in LA

It was far from a pretty display at SoFi Stadium, as the Cowboys eked out a 20-17 over the Chargers. Dak Prescott threw for 272 yards and a rushing touchdown – the longest touchdown run of his career (18 yards) and the longest by a Cowboys QB since 2010.

Los Angeles tied the game at 17-17 with 7:11 remaining, however, Brandon Aubrey made two field goals, including a 39-yarder with 2:19 remaining, to give the Cowboys the lead. Dallas’ defense come up big down the stretch, with Stephon Gilmore picking off Herbert at the Chargers’ 33-yard line with 1:22 remaining to seal the victory.

Skip Bayless fires ominous message to Cowboys haters after MNF win

It capped off a pretty great Week 6 for the Cowboys, who already enjoyed a near perfect Sunday after the 49ers and Eagles each dropped a game.

The Cowboys now enter their bye week with a 4-2 record, and remain right on the tails of Philadelphia and San Francisco in the NFC standings.

After their gusty win over the Chargers, certified Cowboys superfan Skip Bayless had a message for Dallas’ rivals.

Wearing a blue t-shirt with the iconic Cowboys star logo, the sports media personality taunted Dallas’ haters asking, “Who’s laughing now?”

Singling out the Eagles, Lions, and 49ers specifically, Bayless then sent an ominous message to the Cowboys’ rivals: “Only one game behind those vaunted 49ers, and those invincible Eagles, and those up and coming Lions. Here we come. Good luck.”

The change in mood from last week’s loss to the 49ers to now is stark. The Cowboys are now 10-1 after a loss over the last two seasons, and it seems momentum is back with the team after a major setback in Week 5.

Week 7’s bye week will provide time for reflection and recalibration before the Cowboys return to action against the Rams on October 29.
