We saw some familiar faces and a couple of newcomers named to the 2024 Pro Bowl for the Dallas Cowboys.

Seven players for America’s Team will represent them in the Pro Bowl thanks to their stellar 2023 seasons, one fewer than in the previous campaign.

This year’s festivities begin on February 1 and conclude with the game between Eli Manning’s NFC squad and Peyton Manning’s AFC team on the 4th in Orlando, Florida.

Here’s a look at the seven Cowboy players chosen to represent Eli’s NFC and the kind of season they’ve had.

Familiar Faces

Being on the Pro Bowl team must feel like Groundhog Day for Zack Martin, with the 33-year-old guard selected for the ninth time.

He’s now one of six Cowboy players to make it to the Pro Bowl nine times, doing it in 10 seasons.

It’s unsurprising to see Dak Prescott on the list when you examine his 2023 campaign.

The Cowboys pivot may be out of the running for league MVP, but he’s fourth in the NFL regarding passing yards (4,237).

He also leads the NFL in touchdown passes (32), while throwing the fewest interceptions among starting QBs (eight).

CeeDee Lamb is also receiving a deserving Pro-Bowl nod, currently second in the league for receiving yards (1,651) and TD catches (10).

Micah Parsons was another slam dunk to be on the Pro Bowl squad with the third-year linebacker producing 13 sacks and 90 quarterback pressures.

He is only the second Cowboy player in team history to make the Pro Bowl in each of his first three NFL seasons, the other being Mel Renfro.

Seeing how sharp the Cowboys’ offense has been throughout the year, many might forget the kind of season Bryan Anger’s had.

The veteran punter is in the Pro Bowl for the second time, joining Matt McBriar as the only other Cowboys punter to get two selections at that position.

In 2023, according to the Cowboys website Anger ranks second in NFL punting average (51.4) and is first in the league with a 44.3 net average.

The Newcomers

A pair of Dallas Cowboys claimed their first selection to a Pro Bowl this week.

DaRon Bland still leads the NFL regarding interceptions (eight), breaking the single-season league record for pick-sixes (five).

He’s put together plenty of outstanding performances in 2023, filling in admirably for Trevon Diggs.

Brandon Aubrey‘s first season has panned out even better than anyone could imagine.

The former soccer player who came to Dallas from the USFL has transitioned seamlessly to the NFL, converting all 35 of his field goals, a league record for a rookie kicker.

He’s the only kicker in 2023 with at least 20 attempts to have a 100% field goal percentage.

Meanwhile his 35 made field goals ties Gary Anderson’s 1998 mark for the most in a single regular-season.

You can’t say it’s been easy for Aubrey despite missing a trio of converts.

He’s nine for nine on field goals from 50 yards or beyond.
