Mike McCarthy accidentally revealed his very detailed play sheet to the world on Monday night. Amid the intense game against the Chargers fans still found time to poke fun at the Cowboys HC.
The Cowboys managed to get back in the win column on Monday night with a hard-fought victory against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Positive signs for Dak and Cowboys in Chargers win
The win puts the Cowboys right back in the challenge for the NFC East, especially after the Eagles suffered a shock defeat at the hands of the Jets.
Heading into this season the Cowboys parted ways with offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. As a result, it was announced the Mike McCarthy would be Dallas’ play-caller this season – the first time he had done so in over five years.
It’s hardly been perfect so far, but Monday’s win against the Chargers, and McCarthy’s willingness to let Dak be a distributor, was an encouraging sign.

Mike McCarthy’s extremely detailed play sheet was on full view during game
However, Mike did drop the ball somewhat during the game when he showed his very detailed play sheet for the rest of the world to see.
It’s not often it happens, but every now and then one of the very many cameras in an NFL arena manage to get a close up on a coach’s play sheet. This time it was McCarthy, whose brightly coloured laminated sheet, featuring countless plays and intricacies, was picked up by the broadcast.
Usually a coach will hold something over the sheet so as not to reveal it to the rest of the world, but it seems like McCarthy forgot this time.
It wasn’t long before social media made a few jokes at McCarthy’s expense:
Ultimately the Cowboys won, so McCarthy showing off his play sheet clearly had no impact on the outcome of the game.
However, it’s a stark reminder of the insane amount of information that coaches and players have to remember to be able to execute at any given moment.
It’s certainly no easy job.
