Speaking on his podcast this week, Michah Parsons as revealed that he thinks the best team in the NFL right now is the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Dallas Cowboys are currently 4-2 for the season, a game-and-a-half behind the Philadelphia Eagles for first in the NFC East.
The Eagles are one of only two teams (along with the Chiefs) with a 6-1 record, and are coming off an impressive Week 7 victory over the Miami Dolphins. They’re already looking like the team to beat in the NFC, and Dallas linebacker Micah Parsons has gone one step further by saying they’re the best team in the league.

Micah Parsons thinks the Eagles are the best team in the NFL
Speaking on his podcast The Edge this week, Parsons said: “No. 1 would have to be the Philadelphia Eagles.”
He pointed to a number of factors as to why he thinks that, chiefly, their seemingly unstoppable ‘tush push’ and their arsenal of offensive weapons.
“Nobody has stopped the tush push yet. DeVonta Smith could be, while A.J. Brown is a No. 1 wide receiver. Jason Kelce, Hall of Famer. Lane Johnson will be a Hall of Famer. They’re very special,” Parsons added.
“It’s very special to see what they’ve done…I don’t believe they have any weaknesses.”
Eagles have impressed on both sides of the football
Both the Eagles’ units are operating at a high level this season, as they remain consistent on both sides of the ball. Philly are currently 3rd in total yards per game (402.9), 4th points scored per game (26.6), 9th in passing yards per game (260.1) while being 1st in rushing yards against per game (62.86) and 2nd in sacks (24).
The Cowboys still have to play the Eagles twice this season; firstly at Lincoln Financial Field on 5 November, and secondly at home on 10 December. Those two games will likely have a big impact on how the rest of the season plays out.
Dallas has beaten the Eagles in four of the last five meetings, though, and should taken confidence from those previous matchups.
