The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Charges in Week 4 of the NFL.
You can’t talk about luck when it comes to KC’s franchise.
It’s been years of building an incredible legacy and this year they’re trying to make league history with the three-peat.
However, it’s too early to draw any conclusions, but the road to the playoffs has everything to be tough – despite the unbeaten run.
Even so, being able to count on Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and excellent defenders brings some relief to Chiefs Kingdom, which sees a new player injured every game.

Story of the game against the Chargers
Patrick Mahomes had discreet numbers, despite having incredible results against rivals away from home. He completed 19 of 29 passes for 245 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
Among the playmakers, running back Kareem Hunt made his debut with 14 carries for 69 yards, while tight end Travis Kelce had seven receptions for 89 yards and wide receiver Xavier Worthy caught three passes for 73 yards and a TD.
The team’s big name was iDL Chris Jones with four total tackles, three solos, two tackles for loss of yardage and two sacks.
Kansas City trailed for almost the entire match. LA took a 10-0 lead in the first quarter.
The Chiefs broke the deadlock in the second quarter when Mahomes threw a 54-yard bomb to Xavier Worthy for a touchdown. The Chiefs still tried to equalise before the game went to half-time, but Harrison Butker missed the kick from 65 yards.
From then on, the game was very tight, but with five minutes to go, on a final drive, running back Samaje Perine ran from the two-yard line into the endzone, clinching a 17-10 away victory.
Those who fell by the wayside
In addition to a slow start to the season, the Chiefs’ biggest concern for the rest of the year is injuries – especially on offense.
Although they won, the fans were left with a sense of defeat after losing wide receiver Rashee Rice to a knee injury. A serious injury, it seems.
Now the list of injured players has grown – Hollywood Brown, Isiah Pacheco and Rashee Rice make up the offensive group that will be out for a long time.
So far, Rice’s injury is believed to be season-ending.
Travis Kelce, coming off an unimpressive start to the season, should now become the quarterback’s main target, alongside rookie Xavier Worthy.
Skyy Moore, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Justin Watson will probably have more opportunities and spaces in the game.
The Chiefs will need resilience to get through the rest of the regular season and make a strong run in the playoffs.
