In the aftermath of the recent Cowboys playoff demise at the hands of the Green Bay Packers, people have alluded to the idea there could be a culture problem.
Stephen Jones was asked at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis what his views were on the culture speculation.
The vice president said: “We feel good about our culture”.
Of course, the son of Jerry Jones would never openly admit if there was a problem.
Amid culture problems
Fans and journalists are searching for answers as to why the Cowboys have not appeared in an NFC Championship game since 1995.
Jerry Jones is widely regarded as being the face of the franchise.
After all, one of the nicknames given to AT&T Stadium is ‘Jerry World’.
Former tight end, Shannon Sharpe, mentioned the culture topic regarding the Cowboys on his podcast the Nightcap.

Chad Ochocinco, the former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, wants Jerry Jones to take a more hands-off approach: “Jerry, I love you, but just let the players do their thing.”
This recently coincides with radio legend, Chris Russo, also mentioning how Jones needs to take a back seat from the football proceedings.
Shannon Sharpe on their podcast believes Jones cannot tolerate anyone but himself being the face of the Cowboys: “Every other owner is perfectly content with letting their players, their great players, normally a quarterback, be the face of the franchise, but not Jerry.
Jerry is the star of the show
The Pro Football Hall of Fame tight end implied that Jones needs to be the center of attention.
Ochocinco was confused that Jerry Jones acts in that manner: “Wait, Jerry, he’s like that in public too?
“Hold on now, since when have you ever known of an owner that acts like that amongst the people? I don’t be in Dallas but I don’t understand.”
Sharpe quickly replied: “That’s Jerry”
Ochocino was stunned that Jones acted like that in the public eye: “I didn’t know that. I just can’t picture Jerry Jones out in public amongst the masses.”
The two former players suggest that the 81-year-old wants to be the star of the show too frequently and this could be affecting the culture.
RGIII points the finger
Robert Griffin III also suggested that Jones is disrupting the culture on X: “This is Jerry Jones and the culture he has created at the Dallas Cowboys.
“For me, Jerry Jones needs to admit that there is a problem.
“I think a coach who can challenge Jerry Jones and make him uncomfortable is the way the Cowboys are gonna get over that hump.”
Former players point the finger at America’s Team’s owner and suggest he needs to acknowledge he has changed the culture for the worse at the Cowboys.
The first stage to fixing a problem is accepting that there is one, to begin with.
