NFL expert Craig Carton says Rice will ‘find out… the hard way’

Craig Carton discussed the recent revelation with the sophomore under investigation for a new incident.

“If you’re not here, what the nature of being a pro athlete is, ain’t nobody picking you (Rice) up. It’s going to be sweep him off,” Carton explained on his show.

“He’s gonna find out, unfortunately, the hard way, that they’re (Chiefs) not gonna worry about Rashee Rice if Worthy is catching balls… if Hollywood Brown does what they think he’s gonna do. He’ll be a distant memory like that. It will be his fault and nobody else’s.”

Carton implies that in the cut-throat business of the NFL, the Chiefs will be prepared to let the show go on and look for an alternative.

Chiefs have shown interest in free-agent wide receiver Zay Jones

In recent news, the franchise has already opened the door to adding another wide receiver to their core from free agency.

Zay Jones, who was cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars, is searching for a new team.

Per Adam Schefter, the Chiefs have acquired the 29-year-old for a visit to their practice facility.

Consequently, the Chiefs could be looking for a player to fill the void of Rice while he serves his inevitable ban in 2024.
