Dak Prescott’s ‘here we go’ snap cadence was getting serious heat against the New England Patriots in Week 4. Some even said they were debating muting their TV.
The Dallas Cowboys are cruising to a Week 4 victory against the New England Patriots, heading in at halftime with a 28-3 lead. Dallas led the Patriots 10-3 after one quarter thanks to a touchdown catch from WR CeeDee Lamb. The Cowboys continued to pour it on in the second quarter with cornerback DaRon Bland intercepting a Mac Jones pass and returning the pick 54 yards.

Dak Prescott’s ‘Here we go’ snap cadence gets serious heat from fans
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been dropping dimes all game, going 19-of-22 for 196 yards and one touchdown.
Despite his stellar performance so far, fans on social media don’t quite know how they feel about Dak Prescott’s ‘here we go’ snap cadence.
For those who don’t know, what the quarterback yells before the snap is known as the cadence. It’s a series of phrases that often include a familiar set of words that play a pretty significant role in catching defenses off guard and throwing them offside.
There are tons of common cadences, but Dak’s – “Here we go. White Eighty. Set. Hike!” – seems to be rubbing certain fans up the wrong way.

It’s a small but ‘radical’ change this season
The Cowboys decided to move on from offensive coordinator Kellen Moore this offseason, with head coach Mike McCarthy now the man in Prescott’s ear.
Per AZ Sports, the changes may be small but they have the potential to be game-changing this season.
“I think the cadence is really different this year to help with pre-snap penalties, like, that has been re-imagined,” one insider said. “So that’s radical.”
Fans have clearly picked up on the change and it doesn’t seem to be going down too well. Although if the team keeps racking up blowout wins Cowboys fans will hardly care.
