Dallas Cowboys players have started their spring break workouts and fans have noticed one player’s strange routine on social media.

Franchises OTA’s have started around the league as the first glimpse of football on the horizon surfaces.

Fans breathe a sigh of relief as players have started their first preparations for the 2024 season.

The NFL Draft emerges in just under a week, and the selected rookies will engage in the offseason workouts.

CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons were no-shows for the Cowboys’ OTAs

However, it has not been all positive in Dallas with the start of the non-mandatory workouts.

CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons have been absent from training.

Lamb was reported to not attend the workouts before they got underway.

This turned out to be true and the wide receiver is withholding from training to leverage a new deal.

The 25-year-old is not expected to report to any training until a deal is agreed upon.

Los Angeles Rams v Dallas Cowboys

Lucky for Jerry Jones, Parsons has decided to refrain from training for a non-contractual reason.

Michael Gehlken has stated the hybrid linebacker has decided to pursue his workout routine away from the team.

Parsons had the same approach last offseason in 2023 and will do the same.

Despite being eligible for a new deal, the 24-year-old is training separately to become the best version of himself.

Training video emerges of Parsons exchanging stomach punches with partner

Nonetheless, a video surfaced of Parson training in the gym with a partner.

The footage showed the pair exchanging punches to the ribs in a test of abdominal strength.

Parson threw the first punch and the boxer winced but exchanged one with the Cowboys star.

After receiving the punch from the boxer, Parsons gritted his teeth in pain but decided to carry on and delivered another punch himself.

The boxer absorbed the blow and Parsons in disbelief tapped out before being punched again.

Fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the video.

@MileHighRattler posted: “Tapping before you take your 2nd hit but after you give it is embarrassing.”

Fans were in disbelief that Parson was engaging in an activity that could be detrimental.

@JoeHend64986078 tweeted: “Can u imagine if he sustained a serious injury doing this. This guy just doesn’t get it.”

@Natefitz27 stated: “Bro what if you break [a] rib and ain’t ready for the season”

Many fans were more focused on the disparity in the two’s technique.

@_IKENNA_ explained: “lol dude literally half his size. Tells you good punching technique > size & strength.”

@TheOnlyOcho wrote: “Love how much this shows boxing and striking are technical and not just strength.”
