Everything appears to be coming together for Dallas ahead of Sunday’s showdown with the 49ers. For the first time since the 2021 season, the Cowboys have their ideal offensive line healthy and ready to play.
The Cowboys have a chance to prove they’re the best team in the NFC this weekend when they take on 49ers in San Francisco. The undefeated 49ers have been a thorn in Dallas’ side over the past two postseasons, eliminating the Cowboys from the playoffs in back-to-back years. For Dak and the rest of the team, Sunday’s premier matchup is a chance to right some of those wrongs.

Cowboys to have starting offensive line together for first time since 2021 season
Dallas’ defense has been stellar all season, but to beat the 49ers on Sunday Mike McCarthy will need both sides of the football firing on all cylinders.
Ahead of the matchup, the Cowboys have had a huge boost to their offensive line, which has been hamstrung in recent weeks due to injuries.
For the first time since the 2021 season, the Cowboys are expecting to have the top combination on their offensive line together in a game.
According to Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys are preparing to face the 49ers with a combination of LT Tyron Smith, LG Tyler Smith, C Tyler Biadasz, RG Zack Martin and RT Terence Steele.
It’s a huge boost ahead of the 49ers showdown
Tyler Smith has been out with a hamstring strain since before the Giants game in early September. Tyron Smith injured his right knee in practice just before the Cardinals game in Week 3, while Tyler Biadasz (hamstring) and Zack Martin (ankle) have also been out in recent weeks.
This is a group that didn’t feature in a single game last season because of injury. The last time they played together a a unit was in the divisional round loss to the 49ers in January 2022.
It’s been a long time coming, and the excitement at having the ideal starting O-line back together for such a crucial game is palpable.
“This week is the week, man,” Tyler Smith said. “People have been waiting. That’s huge for us. I mean, obviously, throughout training camp, we got a lot of reps together, building great chemistry. Just having everybody back up front, you just know that well-oiled machine is going to keep going.
“We operate five as one. Everyone that’s come in and played has played very well at a high level. But it’s just huge that we’re going to get those starters out there.”
The news couldn’t have come at a better time. Now it’s up to the group to show everyone what we’ve been missing.
