Dallas Cowboys fans can give themselves a pat on the back after demonstrating their unwavering loyalty towards the franchise once again.

Another disappointing season has come and gone for the franchise in 2023, as they begin to wonder will they be able to break this postseason curse which seems to have a firm grasp on them.

Dak Prescott and his Cowboys had an impressive regular season, with the Dallas star shining for the franchise and earning himself a runner up place in the NFL MVP voting.

Dallas Cowboys attendance figures

They entered the Wildcard round of the playoffs on fire as they crushed their NFC East rivals the Washington Redskins 38-10. Additionally, in the preceding game, they overcame the number one chasing seed in the NFC, the Detroit Lions.

The Cowboys were the offense to beat entering the playoffs and all the signs were pointing to a Super Bowl charge.

However, the Green Bay Packers defense dominated the proceedings and sent America’s team home early once again from the playoffs.

In the most recent data release, the Dallas Cowboys posed the highest overall 2023 season attendance – and by quite a large margin.

Over the course of the season, 1,378,743 fans took their seats at AT&T Stadium and cheered on their beloved team.

According to the recent report, the five-time Super Bowl winners beat the New York Jets in second place by 92,787 fans.

So many fans but such little reward

The Cowboys faithful certainly made their voices heard and inspired the team to an undefeated 8-0 home record – the only franchise to boast a perfect record on their own territory this season gone. Until the playoff loss.

With their underwhelming lack of success in the playoffs for the richest franchise in the world, Cowboys fans have good reason to be disgruntled and feel disconnected from the performances on the field, and these figures show their commitment.

The franchise’s last NFC Championship appearance comes all the way back in the era led by Cowboys legend Troy Aikman. Nearly 30 years ago, in 1995, was their last appearance in a Championship game, which they ironically lost against the Packers.

For such a lucrative franchise to have delivered no Super Bowl success in almost three decades, Cowboys supporters will feel heartbroken.

Nevertheless, the most popular franchise in American football will continue to sell out their stadium next season, you can bet on it, as Cowboys fans bleed blue and white.
