The Kansas City Chiefs AFC rivals the Buffalo Bills have executed the biggest trade of the offseason.

Stefon Diggs stays within the conference but joins the Houston Texans.

Seemingly, the Bills were very quick to negotiate a trade to see the back of their wide receiver.

Diggs is an unfiltered character and has been openly critical in the past about players.

However, the departure of Diggs now leaves the Bills’ receiving core stripped down to the bare bones.

Patrick Mahomes vs Josh Allen

The Chiefs and Bills have developed a competitive rivalry since the emergence of both their star quarterbacks.

Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen have served up some epic clashes that will be remembered forever.

In the most recent season, the Buffalo Bills managed to fend off the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

Buffalo Bills v Kansas City Chiefs

A Kadarius Toney penalty ruled out a last-second touchdown for the Chiefs to secure victory.

However, Kansas City showed their class in the do-or-die postseason.

The two franchises met in the divisional round at the home of the Bills.

Mahomes and company showed their experience and class as they walked out of New York State 24-27 victors.

Additionally, in the recent trade move for Diggs, their bitter rivalry was on display once more.

Diggs refused to speak with Chiefs

Former quarterback and Pro Football Talk host, Chris Simms, has revealed some eye-opening information.

When speaking about Diggs’ trade to the Texans, Simms added: “From what I do know, is that he (Diggs) was allowed to seek a trade from anybody in the league except the Kansas City Chiefs.”

According to Simms, the Bills refused Diggs to engage in any trade talks with Brett Veach’s front office.

Diggs to expensive for the Chiefs

In reality, the Chiefs would not have entertained talks purely based on the money factor.

Diggs is an expensive All-Pro receiver who would be on bigger pay than Marquise Brown ($11 million).

Arguably the Bills have got weaker but now have a more united locker room.

The Texans are being talked of as the next rivals for the Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens in the AFC.
