The Denver Broncos trolled Travis Kelce by playing a Taylor Swift song at Mile High after their shock Week 8 win over the Chiefs.
The streak is over.
For the first time since 2015, the Broncos have beaten the Kansas City Chiefs. With a 24-9 victory on Emperor Field at Mile High, Denver snapped a streak of 16 consecutive defeats against KC to hand Andy Reid’s team their second loss of the season.

Chiefs slip to 6-2 after shock defeat to Broncos
The win also broke the Chiefs’ six-game win streak as well as Mahomes’ streak of 12 straight wins against the Broncos. Just 18 days ago Kansas beat the Broncos 19-8 at Arrowfield Stadium.
However, everything seemed to conspire against the Chiefs on Sunday; freezing weather conditions, illness to Patrick Mahomes, and Russell Wilson finding his groove all contributed to the shock defeat.
The now 6-2 Chiefs fell behind 14-3 in the first half, giving themselves an uphill battle to climb in the second. Ultimately, they couldn’t overcome it, as turnovers (5) continued to plague the team (Mahomes gave gave up three himself – a fumble and two interceptions).
The much-maligned Wilson was simply the better QB on the day; he went 12 of 19 for 114 yards, three scores and no interceptions.

Broncos find ultimate way to troll Chiefs and Travis Kelce
The Broncos managed to do what few teams ever have: shut down both Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. The Chiefs TE had been on a tear in recent weeks; heading into Sunday’s matchup Kelce had 31 catches for 370 yards and two touchdowns in his last three games.
However, against Denver he was held to six receptions for 58 yards and no score.
Much has been made of Kelce’s off-field antics in recent weeks, notably his relationship with pop megastar Taylor Swift.
The 3-5 Broncos haven’t had much to cheer about this season, but they found a way to troll Kelce and Swift after the game by blasting out Taylor’s song Shake it Off from Mile High’s audio system as fans left the game.
Kelce’s performances this season with and without Swift in attendance have been widely debated in recent weeks. Swift was not in attendance at Sunday’s game as she prepares for her upcoming tour, and Kelce dropped a stinker. It was just the second time this season he’d gone for less than 60 yards, and the first time since Week 1.
Heading into the Broncos game, Kelce was averaging 108 yards per game with Swift in attendance and 46.5 when she isn’t.
How much would it cost to convince Taylor to cancel her tour and have her at every Chiefs game this season? Maybe it’s something Clark Hunt should look into.
