Odell Beckham ‘wants to sign with the Chiefs’ and former Bengals receiver linked

The Chiefs are determined to do the ‘three-peat’ for the first time in NFL history but they must address an important factor to do so.

Last season the Chiefs did not look fluid for most of the season.

The chemistry on offense seemed to be missing and this was notable with the multiple dropped passes.

Consequently, the Chiefs found themselves in the Wildcard round for the first time under Patrick Mahomes.

Dropped passes

Andy Reid agreed that the dropped passes were an alarming factor.

Steve Spagnuolo’s defense stepped up to keep the Chiefs in close games to make up for the offense’s shortcomings.

Therefore, they have to be in sync from the 2024 opening day if they want another Super Bowl.

Teams are closing the gap and new franchises will be confident of their chances.

Patrick Mahomes needs reliable weapons.

Mike Evans and Darnell Mooney were of interest to the Chiefs but both chose different paths.

Linebacker Drue Tranquill shouted out Mike Williams and Marquise Brown on X to see if they wanted a move.

Now, a further two wide receivers have entered the frame as options for the Chiefs.

Welcoming a rival

One of Kansas’ rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals, has released veteran Tyler Boyd.

Boyd has been a loyal Bengal since his draft in 2016 but hits free agency for the first time in his career.

The 29-year-old production may have dropped off, with his last 1,000-yard season coming in 2019.

Nevertheless, he is a reliable set of hands, and as we know Mahomes can elevate anyone’s game.

According to Mark Kaboly of The Athletic, both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets are interested in securing his services.

In addition, Odell Beckham is a free agent after a disappointing season with the Baltimore Ravens.

However, Beckham is reportedly seeking a wealthy contract and years attached.

The Daily Mail reported he wants to sign with the Chiefs and is commanding a lot of money.

Beckham won the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams in 2021.

Tension between Kim K and Swift

Beckham’s partner is model Kim Kardashian, who previously had a relationship with Kanye West.

The rapper legally known as ‘Ye’ used a derogatory word in his song regarding Taylor Swift.

Travis Kelce’s partner denied that Ye had called her up and confirmed he could use that lyric.

Long story short, ‘Kim K’ asked for proof of the call recording and the situation was made public.

So, if Odell joins the Chiefs could there be slight tensions in the suites if both Kim and Taylor attended a game? This is a complication Andy Reid probably won’t factor in.
