NFL fans suffering from “Taylor-Fatigue” according to a new poll

Celebrity gossip about the hottest unconfirmed power couple might be losing some steam.

For months, the rumoured relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce has been talked about non-stop in the world of news, sports and entertainment.

Shots of the Grammy Award-winning singer seem to be getting more attention than Kansas City Chief games every time they take to the field at Arrowhead.

There’s no denying how much Swift’s presence has grown the Chiefs brand along with the NFL’s, who’ve both prospered tremendously from the reports.

It hasn’t hurt Kelce’s image either as the future Hall of Fame tight end, who’s getting all kinds of attention on and off the field during Chiefs telecasts.

The Travis Kelce name is as hot as it has ever been; from commercials to his “New Heights” podcast with brother Jason and appearances on SNL, he seems to pop up everywhere.

As the saying goes, “What goes up must come down”, and that might be what’s happening with Kelce and Swift.

Kelce and Swift Publicity losing steam?

Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid and everyone who works for the Chiefs must be getting a little tired of all the questions surrounding Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift by now, you’d think.

Well, according to a new poll powered by What if Media, plenty of football enthusiasts are sick of all the attention surrounding the two of them as well.

“The American Survey” poll asked 16,000 random people living in the US about all of the attention surrounding Swift and Kelce.

It was virtually unanimous that those people had enough of the media coverage about their reported romance.

90% of NFL fans in the survey want less coverage of Swift and Kelce during Chiefs games.

According to the group’s results, it isn’t only men who want the cameras off Swift and on Kansas City games, though.

Luster Wearing Off?

The data shows only a 1% difference between men and women suffering from a case of “Taylor-fatigue”.

Those living in and around where the Chiefs play also appear to be sick of the Swift sightings.

Of those surveyed, 86% of people in Kansas and 84% of those living in Missouri also want less attention on Swift at their games.

These poll results a massive surprise considering how much time the media has invested in this.

Former tight end Rob Gronkowski is just one the many who wants more football and less Swift during NFL telecasts.

Last month, an Instagram post which went viral on TMZ shared a clip of Maryland native Dana Rice showing her husband, who’d had enough of the Swift and Kelce attention.

Amid all the attention around the two celebrities, the Chiefs are still at the top of the AFC with a record of 7-2.

Kansas City is on a bye week at the moment, so it’s doubtful that attention will fizzle out in the coming days, regardless of what the people think.
