The Kansas City have been engaging with their offseason activities like any other team but have been forced to acknowledge a troubling off-field issue within the group.
Rashee Rice grabbed the media headlines back in March when he was involved in a multi-vehicle incident.
Fortunately for him, no one was fatally injured during the incident but the fallout from the events are overshadowing his off-season.

Rice is set to face numerous chargers and a suspension from the league
Despite one incident being chalked off, the NFL is set to issue Rice with a multi-game suspension.
The Chiefs’ rookie record-breaker has been the most successful wide receiver the team has drafted since Tyreek Hill (who started as a special teams returner/ wide receiver/running back threat).
Furthermore, his image and reputation have taken a hit during the offseason.
Fans disapprove of Rice’s ‘PR’ stunt with the Dallas homeless population
Some NFL fans have been claiming that Rice has been engaging in a ‘PR’ stunt to improve his image.
The 2023 Round 2 pick engaged in a very charitable act by handing out pizza and water to the Dallas community’s most vulnerable people.
However, fans were not as quick to see it as a kind gesture and took to social media to share their view.
@smithcps01 said: “PR play…..not a horrible idea…”
@D_Swizz94 also suggested: “PR team on this sh**.”
@alexthesolver posted: “He spent a couple hundred on some pizza thinking it will clean his slate.”
@TheDailyID acclaimed: “This is good for him. He needs to repair his image.”
@ArchieLeachman referred to the PR stunt: “That’s the best his PR team could come up with??? Pizza and water? Tisk tisk.”
Rice has a long way ahead of him to win back the hearts and minds of NFL fans
Fans are unconvinced about the true intention behind the care being shown to the city’s vulnerable population.
Rice is trying to amend his previous wrongdoings but it will be hard for people to forget his inexcusable actions in March.
