It would be just under one month since the Kansas City Chiefs’ dream of remaining at Arrowhead came crashing in flames.

Clark Hunt had proposed a sales-tax extension that would see the residents of Jackson County partially fund the renovations of the public stadium.

On April 2nd, the residents voted against the motion set by franchise executive Mark Donovan.

It was a landslide victory that ended with 58% of voters rejecting the tax extension.

NFL expert John Middlekauff stated he understands why it was rejected when considering the economic climate.

All options on the table for the Chiefs and could follow in the footsteps of the Raiders

Before the vote, Chiefs Team President Mark Donovan had said all options were on the table for their future.

The Chiefs could be tempted elsewhere if their dreams are to be funded.

Their bitter AFC West division rivals, the now Las Vegas Raiders, stumbled across a similar problem in 2020.

Las Vegas was willing to accommodate the franchise and the Raiders moved to Nevada.

The franchise tried to move to Los Angeles before Las Vegas, but the Rams and Chargers had pipped them to the spot.

Furthermore, the Allegiant Stadium is a stellar example of magnificent architecture and hosted the Kansas City Chiefs’ latest Super Bowl victory.

The Chiefs were desperate to renovate Arrowhead and move it into the modern era of sports arenas.

However, the aspiration has not gotten the seal of approval from the residents, and moving out of Missouri may be realistic.

New design concept of the Chiefs’ new stadium

FOX News broke the revelating news on social media last night and posted the renderings of the potential new stadium for the Chiefs.

The stadium design swept across the internet yesterday and received mixed reviews from fans.

Per FOX anchor John Holt, the design has been planned by sports architect David Manica on behalf of an unnamed developer.

Moreover, the design location is based in Kansas City, Kansas so the team would be shifting out of Missouri and across state lines.

Donovan spells out when the Chiefs will plan for the future

Despite plans being configured, there remains more work behind the scenes for the franchise.

Mark Donovan claimed most of the work for the team’s future would begin after the FIFA World Cup which is shared across North America.
