Micah Parsons has held one on one talks with Jerry Jones about the upcoming Free Agency period.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was a spectator at the Super Bowl, left wishing his team had made it to the biggest game in American sports.
Along with 30 other teams who did not make it, Jones is plotting his way to get back there, with a new defensive coordinator, with Mike Zimmer replacing Dan Quinn.
Jones also wants to make a splash in Free Agency, pledging to go ‘all in’, and has been encouraged to back up those words by Micah Parsons.

Micah Parsons wants defensive additions
Micah Parsons is one of the stars of the Dallas defense, and is the team’s biggest jersey seller, more than Dak Prescott.
He has the ear of his owner, spending time with Jerry Jones in Las Vegas during the Super Bowl.
Jones told the Stephen A Smith show: “We just sit and talk from before the game until the whole half about players I want to bring in, players I want to be around, who I need, who do I want to be with, future of our team.
“And that’s just dope to have that kind of feedback with an owner who loves to hear your ideas what you think, what the team can be.
“Jerry has been very amazing about that. We spoke for two to three hours at the Super Bowl alone.”
Pressed on specifics, Parsons says he believes it is important to add to the Cowboys linebacker group, and double down on the unit he plays in.
Parsons explains: “I told Jerry, I said look at every team who was in that final four who did they have, San Francisco, Detroit, who did Baltimore have, a great lineback core. Who did San Fran have, a great linebacker core. KC, they came along. we need to get another big linebacker whose going to come down [on them].
Parsons adds there was one Kansas City Chiefs player who really grabbed his eye, Chris Jones, whose contract is one that KC need to sort out as a priority. Perhaps Dallas could get in the mix?
“We need a big old 330 [lb player who you] can’t move, I saw the way Chris Jones played that Super Bowl and I was like ‘my god’ get him. Not even Chris Jones, Mike Pennel. We need to get one of those big nasty pashing rushing [guys].”
NFL.com reports Kansas City have picked up Jones’ contract option, giving them the chance to Franchise Tag him. They are intent on keeping him.
Former Cowboys star Mike Irvin wants offensive signings, but Dallas can’t do it all, with major contracts to sort out too. Big decisions are coming up for Jerry Jones this off-season.
