Amid all the offseason drama, that has engulfed the Dallas Cowboys, one-star player’s brother has taken to social media.
Micah Parsons has been one of the best defensive players in the NFL since his rookie season in 2021.
The linebacker has been awarded a Pro Bowl selection in all three seasons.
Additionally, he has been All-Pro every year – being in the First-Team twice and the Second-Team once.
Proudly, he was worthy of the Defensive Rookie of the Year award in his first season out of Penn State.
Parsons agreed to a ‘team-friendly’ deal
During the offseason, Dallas confirmed that they had exercised the fifth-year option in his rookie contract.
However, this was a ‘team-friendly’ deal as he was registered as a defensive end instead of a linebacker.
As a result, this saved the Cowboys $2.7 million on the cap.

Parsons only has two years left on his current deal and it is now the time the Cowboys start to plan.
With the chaos surrounding the Cowboys, wild suggestions are being thrown around that Parsons could consider hitting free agency in 2026.
Although this is a possible choice, the Cowboys could offer and should offer Parsons a top-of-the-market deal.
The 24-year-old is already on the path to becoming a Hall of Famer and it would be foolish to lose him.
Micahs’ brother hits back on social media
Micah Parsons’ brother, Terrence, took to X to respond to a claim he should jump ship.
Terrence Parsons Jr. posted on X: “We gonna embrace the rebuild and build something special Dallas cowboy for life as long as they keep cutting them checks.”
Evidently, Parsons’ brother shows how Micah wants to remain a Cowboy despite all the uncertainty in Dallas.
Prescott future unclear – 2025 rebuild?
Dak Prescott has been rumored to potentially hit free agency in 2025 if an extension is not agreed.
But Terrence says they will ‘embrace the rebuild’ during this offseason and future ones.
Nevertheless, he shows that the front office must pay his brother appropriately for the three-time Pro Bowler to remain in Dallas.
As of this moment, Parsons’ future is safe and dedicated to America’s Team.
