The Kansas City Chiefs will have the world’s eyes on them as they become the first team since the 2005 New England Patriots to attempt the history-making three-peat.
Andy Reid and his unit have been given their roadmap for the 2024 season and the NFL could have given them one of the hardest opening schedules.
The Kansas City Chiefs are set to open the 2024 NFL season at home against the Baltimore Ravens in a rematch of the AFC Championship.
Chiefs forced to open their season against their two biggest threats in the AFC
Moreover, the contest will have fireworks with Ravens kicker Justin Tucker provoking a reaction from Travis Kelce in January.
The two teams will have bad blood and the Ravens will be looking to get a small slice of revenge when September 5th rolls around.

However, the schedule has no intention of easing up as the Chiefs will play a second game at Arrowhead Stadium against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Patrick Mahomes has very few, if any difficulties in the NFL but Joe Burrow has seemed to have his number.
Joe Burrow has proved to be the Chiefs’ kryptonite as the Bengals starter
The Bengals quarterback has endured numerous injuries during his NFL career but boats an irritating 3-1 record when starting against the Chiefs.
In their latest encounter, Mahomes got his first win in the AFC Championship but will want to build upon that resounding victory.
Kansas City is entertaining the toughest opening two weeks in the NFL but will look at the two home games as a positive.
Chiefs head on to the road against the unprecedented Atlanta Falcons
Then the Chiefs go on the road for the first time against the Atlanta Falcons. Their opponent has free-agent acquisition Kirk Cousins as signal-caller, alongside new head coach Raheem Morris.
The experience of Cousins could prove to be a problem for the Chiefs but in our 2024 season prediction, we have them emerging victorious.
In addition, our season prediction has the Chiefs starting with three victories to kick off their three-peat campaign in style.
NFL expert suggests the Chiefs could start their season with three losses
Nevertheless, on the Rich Eisen show, NFL expert Chris Brockman has suggested the reigning Super Bowl champions could lose all three.
“The Chiefs they’re gonna start 0-3,” Brockman proclaimed on the show.
“They lost the opener last year. A team that played them really tough last year in the Baltimore Ravens, a rematch of the championship game. Maybe some revenge there. They’re playing Joe Burrow who has beaten them in the playoffs. Then, the Falcons are a wildcard shot, so let’s just call it.”
Brockman has toyed with the possibility of the Chiefs disastrously starting their season.
Ravens and Bengals will strike at the sense of any Chiefs’ weaknesses
The Chiefs will need to be cautious that they do not have a lackluster start to the season opener like they did last year.
Patrick Mahomes and the offense struggled to find their chemistry and allowed the Detroit Lions to run out with the victory.
If a similar display follows in 2024, the Ravens will be quick to jump on any weaknesses, as would the Bengals.
Yet, we believe lighting does not strike twice and the Chiefs will start the season with a fantastic victory to take into Week 2.
