The Cowboys don’t seem to be able to make the right moves in order to prepare for next season
If there’s one thing the Dallas Cowboys aren’t doing during this year’s offseason, it’s a good job. On the contrary, the noise coming from within the organization is due to rumours – which are causing controversy, in fact.
The speculation that Micah Parsons ‘has worn thin’ in Dallas has spiraled out of control, and so far all we see are several different theories and arguments.
The information came from Shan Shariff, who heard people from inside the franchise mention that it would be a great relief if Parsons left the team.
Dallas is about to make choices that will dictate its direction going forward and have yet to speak out or even clarify the situation of their edge rusher.

The stance America’s Team should follow considering the situation
On this Friday’s edition of NFL Pro Football Talk on NBC, Mike Florio was joined by Charean Williams to discuss what it means for the player to be ‘wearing thin’.
The host began by saying that the fact that Parsons has his own podcast and deals with topics he feels comfortable with shouldn’t be a problem for Dallas’ organisation.
“I think they have the freedom to share whatever they want to share, even if it might make the Cowboys upset and they’re not doing the bidding of the Cowboys.”
Florio also added that the team itself has its platforms to clear up any misunderstandings.
“But the other side of it, it has that whiff of legitimacy that if the Cowboys don’t believe it, I think it makes it incumbent on them to find a way to say ‘this isn’t true’. They’ve got their own website. They could have posted an item saying that Shan Sharif is incorrect.”
“There’s nothing about Micah Parsons that’s wearing thin and my big takeaway is: he’s Micah Parsons, if he’s wearing thin, you better think in your skin because he’s a generational talent and you deal with whatever it is that he’s saying or doing that is causing you to become offended in some way, because he’s good enough.”
Parsons’ contract hasn’t been extended yet – not just his
Above all this debate, the analyst made it clear that all this rumour must not outweigh the value he has for the good performance of the franchise.
“We talked earlier about the excuses that get made for guys who commit crimes. This guy hasn’t done anything wrong. He just isn’t afraid to speak his mind and he said some things that may rub people the wrong way. So what? He’s not 53 on your roster, he’s one or two on your roster.”
Florio pointed out what, for him, is one of the Cowboys’ biggest red flags when it comes to keeping their key players in the roster: “The Cowboys still haven’t figured it out how to handle young star talent.”
“They wait too long, they are too cheap and are short sighted. They think that being a member of the Cowboys has some inherent value that they should get credit for the bargaining table and it all started with Dak Prescott, the way they handled his contract.”
“I feel like history is repeating itself with Cee Dee Lamb and it’s gonna potentially repeat itself again with Micah Parsons and they have a problem – a problem that may result in Dak Prescott walking away next year as a free agent.”
