Jerry Jones will be deliberating with his front office and scouts about who their top priorities are in the NFL Draft.
In one week, the Dallas Cowboys will be on the clock with the 24th pick in the NFL Draft.
America’s Team must hit with all their picks as they look to supplement a depleted squad.
Apart from the quarterback role, all positions could be a target for Jerry Jones and he could pick the best player available at 24.
Cowboys host their top 30 visits as they look for talented linemen
The Cowboys have hosted highly-projected rookies at their top 30 visits, with most being linemen.
A key issue the Cowboys must address is stopping the run and Jones admitted this was a flaw last season.
However, their job has been made much harder as defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins hit free agency.

Despite saying he has ‘unfinished business’ in Dallas, he joined the Seattle Seahawks on a one-year deal.
The 32-year-old nose tackle was a vital component for the Cowboys run defense with his size.
Nonetheless, they decided to move on from the aging veteran and will look for a younger alternative in the draft.
T’Vondre Sweat’s draft value plummets after DWI arrest
One of the more controversial defensive stars of the NFL Draft is defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat.
The Texas college star was arrested on April 7th relating to a DWI.
His draft stock will have taken a massive blow and he will have fallen down the pecking order.
Furthermore, The Athletic has reported some scouts have questioned his maturity and commitment to football.
Sweat is a highly-rated prospect but now faces critics.
Cowboys would have kept a close eye on Sweat being a student in Texas
Being local to the Dallas Cowboys, it is without a doubt the front office would have kept close tabs on the 22-year-old.
Yet, one Cowboys writer has shut down the idea of the team showing reasonable interest in the Texas student.
Clarence Hill Jr took to X and posted: “The Cowboys think he [Sweat] is too heavy.”
The tackle’s weight was pushing 390lbs during his College Football Playoffs.
Per the ESPN players database, Hankins was playing at roughly 320lbs last season.
Ultimately, Sweat could weigh up to 70lbs more than their previous DT and the Cowboys could be looking for a more athletic player.
