The Dallas Cowboys are now spinning plates as they are going to be forced to give their star defender a mega deal.
America’s Team has been limited in their free agency activity due to consideration of future dealings.
Stephen Jones stated that the Cowboys are focused on paying their homegrown talent.
CeeDee Lamb is predicted to receive a deal to become one of the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL.
Dak Prescott is confirmed to eat up $55 million in the cap space in 2024.
Additionally, star defender Micah Parsons is entering the fourth year of his rookie contract.

Micah Parsons has his fifth-year extension activated
Currently, Lamb will be playing on his fifth-year extension in 2024.
All these costly factors have handicapped Jerry Jones’ ability to sign top free-agency talent.
There is no doubt that Parsons will be receiving a blockbuster deal but it just depends on how much.
Recently, the Cowboys activated the first-rounder’s fifth-year extension but registered him as a defensive end.
As a result, this has saved the Cowboys $2.7 million on their books come the respective cap year.
So, how much could the All-Pro linebacker be offered when Jerry Jones is forced to open the checkbook?
Parsons could become highest-paid defender of all time
Veteran Cowboys reporter Mike Fisher believes it could be a record-breaking deal, he stated: “Arguably the best defensive player in the game and deserving in the eyes of most of a coming contract extension that, I would say quite likely will make him the highest-paid defensive player of all time, certainly top three.
“This is gonna be a 30 million dollar a year deal, I don’t think that’s going to be a stretchy prediction.”
According to the Cowboys reporter, Parsons could and should expect to see him become the highest-paid defender.
Parsons’ brother confirms Micah wants to stay a Cowboy
Consideration of this lucrative deal that will need to be on the table has forced the Cowboys to limit their offseason movements.
Parsons’ brother, Terrence, has said on X that Micah wants to stay in Dallas as long as he is paid right.
Micah Parsons is in the top tier of defensive players after three seasons in the league.
Moreover, he is competing with the likes of T.J. Watt and Myles Garrett to be the best defensive player in the NFL.
Therefore, it is not unreasonable, considering his age, that the 24-year-old receives a market-setting deal.
Pressure seems to be growing about Lamb potentially holding out on a contract.
It may not be long before Parsons may consider doing the same.
