Chiefs long snapper shares Travis Kelce’s reaction to hearing Taylor Swift was at Arrowhead Stadium

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift can easily be considered one of the most popular couples of the moment around the globe.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the singer confirmed their relationship in June 2023, when she attended one of their regular season games at Arrowhead Stadium.

Since then, Swift has appeared at twelve other games, including the Super Bowl. Kelce also went to some of the shows on The Eras Tour to support his girlfriend.

The Chiefs roster as a whole is happy with their teammate’s relationship.

At the time, there was only a rumour that the lovebirds were together, but nothing was confirmed – until that game against the Chicago Bears in September last year.

On the Like a Farmer podcast, James Winchester shared the exact moment when he discovered that the singer was on site at Arrowhead Stadium.

In a conversation with Chiefs assistant equipment manager Jay White, he said that he really didn’t think Kelce and Swift were dating and that it was just a rumour.

“I said, ‘Jay, I think this whole thing is just made up. I think it’s just a big rumor’, and Jay looked at me and he goes, ‘Oh dude, she’s here’, and I was like, ‘Well, maybe she’s here’ and he goes, ‘No, she’s right there’.”

Winchester quickly went after Kelce to comment on his new discovery: “I walked up to Trav in the game and we were on the sideline and I just said, ‘Hey man, that’s cool she’s here,'” shared.

And Travis reacted: “He’s like, ‘Wait, what do you mean? Did they put her up on the Jumbotron or something?'”

“Jay just told me right there,” he said before telling his teammate. “That’s awesome, man, good for you.”

According to him, Kelce’s facial expression was the best of all: “He’s just kind of smiling, kind of blushing.”

Winchester, after the end of the game, had the opportunity to meet the singer in person. And he loved what she said to him.

“Later on that night I got to meet her and, the first thing she said is, ‘Hey, you’re the guy with the cute kids’, because we have my son and daughter out on the field. And so I’m like, ‘Ok, I think I just became a T-Swift fan’.”

Swift continues to be loved by her boyfriend’s friends and teammates.
