Charles Omenihu has been undergoing his offseason challenge battling a serious injury.
The 26-year-old suffered a brutal ACL tear in the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens last season.

Omenihu earned his first ring when the Chiefs beat his old team the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl LVIII.
During the current offseason, Omenihu underwent vital surgery last month to get his rehabilitation process underway.
Since, the surgery the D-lineman has been on the road to recovery and has given a progress update.

Furthermore, Omenihu took to Instagram to share his latest update on where he is on the journey.
He shared an emotional video of the training he has participated in and posted the caption: “Y’all I can now start walking with Y’all on this beautiful journey that God has put me on to a full recovery… 7 weeks out.”
During the video, Omenihu was seen to be hobbling around on crutches and receiving physiotherapy.
Additionally, he has even given a timeframe of when he hopes to be fully walking again.

The Houston native hopes to be back to full mobility in 7 weeks.
From the point when he can walk freely, Omenihu can then start to build his strength back and start training.
Ultimately, the journey is still long for the defensive player but he now has an end in sight.
On the Up and Adams Show, Omenihu said he already has grudge matches for the 2024 season.
He enters the final year of his existing deal despite believing he has earned a new extension.
