The Philadelphia Eagles have made the acquisition of free agent Devin White on March 18th.
He joins on a one-year deal worth $7.5 million.
America’s Team’s NFC East rivals have made their signing in the linebacker role.
Recently, Leighton Vander Esch announced his retirement from the NFL after persistent neck injuries.
Before this, the Cowboys stole free agent Eric Kendricks from the San Francisco 49ers to make their first offseason move.
Eagles and Cowboys make linebacker signings
Dallas and the Eagles are going to battle it out for the NFC East title, with the latter looking to regain control.
Devin White is a strong singing for the Eagles, having earned himself a 2020 Second-Team All-Pro selection and winning a ring with the Tamp Bay Buccaneers.
Additionally, in 2021, White secured a Pro Bowl selection.

Lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, Skip Bayless, has expressed his verdict of what the latest signing means for the NFC East: “They (Eagles) got Devin White, we got Eric Kendricks, advantage Philadelphia.”
Fellow Undisputed host Keyshawn Johnson was quick to respond, saying: “But Devin fits with what they like to do and he may not fit with Zim (Zimmer).
“Kendricks loves Zim, they know each other and [he] was going to go to the Niners.”
With White on the market being a Super Bowl winner, Bayless prefers the signing to Kendricks.
Zimmer can get the best out of Kendricks
Mike Zimmer and Kendricks worked together during their time in Minnesota and the latter played his best football there.
Furthermore, the 32-year-old became a 2019 First-Team All-Pro under the guidance of the new Cowboys’ defensive coordinator.
Additionally, by stealing the linebacker away from the 49ers, they have weakened a rival NFC team.
The chemistry Kendricks and Zimmer have shown is hard to ignore and they have got the best out of each other.
Eagles have made healthy free agent signings, including the Cowboys target Saquon Barkley at running back.
Philly looks to claim back the NFC East crown they gained in 2022 and has picked up White to help.
