Travis Kelce has achieved everything in American Football with the Kansas City Chiefs… but he does have one notable flaw that he has admitted to.
The nine-time Pro Bowler, just like a lot of people, was not great when it came to the interview process.
Although, the interviews he is talking about are at the NFL Combine.
Not only is the NFL Combine a place where the graduating rookies demonstrate their athleticism through numerous performance drills, but they partake in multiple interviews with interested franchises.
The franchises need to learn about the players’ personalities and what has shaped them to be the man they are today.

In the 2024 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, coaches and general managers will have a solid idea of who is on their drafting shortlist.
Therefore, they will request interviews will specific players to gain a grasp of how they hold themselves and their attitudes.
Being a rookie liaising with various teams can be an anxious experience, as an interview that goes south could leave a lasting impression.
Bad interviews can be a make-or-break factor for a franchise when deciding what rookies they are planning to draft.
Just ask three-time Super Bowl winner Travis Kelce.
Travis Kelce met with Dallas Cowboys
Kelce has experienced an exceptional career after over a decade on the Kansas City Chiefs’ roster.
The 34-year-old will not have any regrets over passed mistakes as his achievements speak volumes.
Although, life may have been very different for Kelce if he had not botched his Cowboys interview.
The topical conversation about Combine interviews surfaced on the New Heights podcast, Kelce explained what happened in that Cowboys interview: “At the Combine, I had some bad interviews.
“The Cowboys they were kinda pressing me about this red flag of missing a year.”
Travis Kelce was suspended during his third season in college at Cincinnati. The four-time First-Team All-Pro admitted to ‘smoking week’ and was suspended as a result.
Kelce proceeded to explain the ordeal in the Cowboys interview: “I don’t know if I was having a bad morning… it ended really fast. I basically just said, if you think I’m gonna be that kind of guy or you’re questioning if I’m still that person after everything I’ve battled through to get to where I am now.
“Then you guys go somewhere else and pick someone else.”
Jason Kelce jokingly said: “They took your advice.”
They certainly did, Travis Kelce fell to the third round and was snatched up by the Chiefs.
America’s Team will have painful regrets about that… Kelce will not.
The Chiefs developed the rookie drafted in 2013 to become one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history.
